00:00 - I’d just like to say, my wife usually doesn’t need me to defend her, but she’s a great mom, and my kid was not unsafe on a float in 1 feet of water being held by an adult with 5 people watching so she could get a picture.
- Scoring quick points by picking on trans kids isn’t something that is brave at all. And I’m proud of Maren for sticking up for them. Badge of honor to have CO engage in completely normal discourse, too. Shut up and sing only applies to those who you disagree with.
- I have to brag. This girl struggled for 2 days trying to get a voice to sing and she 100% crushed one of the hardest songs on her record. No one cares more about her music or gives more to it than this one. Just an inspiring woman and I’m lucky to have a front row seat for it...front row losers in love. 🖤 ////📷: @ShearerPhoto
- My girl is on top of the world right now. Her band rules and her song is sitting on top of the chart. Country music is for everyone. “Girl” and “Crowded Table” make me feel like everything is gonna be alright.
- I think London Boy is my favorite on Lover. Feels like it’s written like a country song buts it’s all dressed up like a pop song. Super cool.
- It’s late, but before all the craziness happens, I just want to say that I am so proud of my beautiful wife Maren. She put her album together in our kitchen, and she poured her entire self into every single second of it. To me, it is perfect, and I am so excited for you to hear.
- Replying to @RyanHurdGetting a lot of people telling me our career is over, as if the last time she spoke up about something it disappeared. Honestly, we’re pretty ok over here. Tours are good, got a 2 year old we love, we’re fucking fine, and I promise she isn’t going to shut up now.
- We are ok. I’m in New York and Maren and our house are fine, but our neighborhood is not. Places we have loved for many years don’t look like they are there any more. We are so thankful and devastated at the same time.
- Maren so i could see my kid and also sleep on a way better bus. also she is fun to hang out with and I am smitten. we laugh a lot. maybe she will see this.
