2026 marks the Legion’s Centenary year and we’ve created a beautiful, interactive website that chronicles the major events and achievements of the Legion over the past century. This site is a treasure trove of history – and a great reminder to us all of the Legions proud legacy.

The Legion strongly condemns those who jumped on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and disrespected the National War Memorial on Saturday. The site commemorates those who fought and fell for the very freedoms that allow the right to protest peacefully and respectfully.

We Remember the 14,000 Canadian troops who landed on Juno Beach. They advanced against difficult odds, but the Normandy campaign came at a terrible cost. Canadians suffered the most casualties in the British Army Group. Photos: veterans.gc.ca/eng/remembranc… #DDay #CanadaRemembers

The National War Memorial is a site of collective remembrance & must be treated with respect. The removal of protective barricades & the reported inaction by those charged with safeguarding this memorial is deeply disturbing. Those who sacrificed for our freedoms deserve better.

Today marks the end of the Battle of Passchendaele. The Battle ended on November 10, 1917. Canadian soldiers overcame unimaginable hardships, hard rains, deep mud, and won an impressive victory against heavy enemy fire to take back Passchendaele. #WeWillRememberThem
