It’s the old fascist playbook: 1. Undermine democracy and the rule of law. 2. Deny that there is such a thing as truth. 3. Create the sense that the country is on the brink of civil war. 4. Offer yourself as the answer. Don’t fall for it.

Joey is 25 today. He’s never said a word in his life, but has taught me so much more than I’ve ever taught him. ❤️

Every time it’s results day I ask you to remember the young people who’ve never got a qualification in their lives. They matter too.

The UK creative sector employs 2m in the UK and is worth £100b to the economy Fishing employs less than 10,000 people and is worth less than £1b to the economy. Brexit won’t help fishing: the vast majority of UK catch is sold to the EU. This is what happens when bullshit wins

The Nazis, too, encouraged people to calculate the cost of keeping disabled people alive. School children were set exercises in estimating the economic cost of 'useless eaters'. This is a dark day, @Telegraph, and you should be ashamed.

With news of planes full of Eastern Europeans coming here to pick fruit and veg, the absurdity of Brexit has become clearer than ever.

Brexit is just about to get even worse: on the 1st of January, full border and customs controls are bought into force. Exciting isn’t it?
