- A Ben Roethlisberger update: He will see his doctors in LA Feb. 21 and hopes to get clearance to start throwing tennis balls and other light objects. He remains confident he will be ready for the Steelers' offseason work in May. Roethlisberger had elbow surgery Sept. 23.
- I bet I received 1,000 texts of sympathy about my mom's passing, many from those who don't like me or my opinions. Too many to thank individually. I read/appreciate each text. I don't usually have much use for the hate on Twitter, but it was beautiful for me this time. Thank you.

- Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has a torn meniscus in left knee and will have surgery Monday morning. No timetable for his return.
