I think this post perfectly exemplies the problems people are having with Indians. None of those companies were started in India or by Indians and were not run by nor associated with Indians and India during their respective golden ages. But all of them seem to be getting

Started new job (job 9) today. Male boss, finally. Boss slacks me: "I'll just let you settle in today, we can talk tomorrow". Then doesn't bother me for the rest of the day.

Never blame employees for what employers do. These guy went to the market and demonstrated that he is worth $800k, but no single employer would be willing to pay him that and would also artificially stop him from doing business. Employers literally demand people earn less.

Non-competes were an outrageous unethical overreach of employers over workers. How could a private entity forbid a citizen from doing business with others? It was total insanity and proof that employers just throw whatever they want in their contracts, ethics be damned.

OK I'll take the low status job. Can I at least drink during work? "No HR will fire you" Will we get a big festival and time off at the end of year? "No. Any time off you'll have to clear it with HR" Can I rest or go home if there's no work to be done? "No" Can I at least

I'll cut Nadella some slack. He even started "low" in the company and worked his way up. Very hard to accuse him of the typical things Indians get accused of. The problem with Microsoft I think is not its current valuation or success, but the products getting worse!

French way is how it should be done: lots of rest then peaks of high intensity work. Like felines. Long, low intensity hours is for farm animals.
