”We’ve created a political culture that has people taking pride in how nastily intolerant they can be- where rage is the paramount civic and personal virtue, and kindness is nothing more than collaborating with the enemy. What is anyone getting out of it?”

George is right. Killing random civilians to spread a political message is terrorism. FBI classifies it as domestic terrorism, but "white terrorism" is more precise. Many of the killers are lone-wolf losers indoctrinated to hate through the internet, just like Islamic terrorists.

The Russians who meddled in the 2016 presidential election were on the Russian side. They will be on the Russian side in 2020. They are always on the Russian side.

“Our unanimous conclusion was this: The truth matters. At a time when so much of our public discourse is based on deception or just lies, it is more important than ever that we still have places where the truth can be presented, examined and discerned.”

“Russia is waging an information warfare campaign against the U.S. that didn’t start and didn’t end with the 2016 election," said Sen. Richard Burr (R-NC). “Their goal is broader: to sow societal discord and erode public confidence in government.”

“There was overwhelming evidence Russian operatives hacked American computers and defrauded American citizens, and it is only the tip of the iceberg of a comprehensive Russian strategy to influence elections, promote social discord, and undermine America”

Pedophiles facing federal criminal charges are at high risk for suicide. It happened in several of my Maryland cases when defendants were released on bail. Detained pedophiles require special attention. Stopping people from harming themselves is difficult. uscourts.gov/sites/default/…

Notice how this pundit completely misses the point and thereby illustrates it.
It’s even more important for a president not to corruptly use his power to try to quash investigations of him and his friends. You speak up about Comey failing to “follow established policies and procedures” but stood silently beside Barr when he misled the public about Trump.

It was a privilege to serve with Dan Coats, a patriot who understood that the executive branch oath requires us to distinguish governing from politicking. He protected national security and helped deter foreign election meddling and other efforts to undermine American interests.

How do you know when to believe a reporter, commentator, politician, or tweeter? Check multiple sources. If you get the news from TV, change the channel. “The most important thing is to read broadly, because when you read broadly, you develop a sense of what is and isn’t right.”

The Department of Justice will ignore the President's threats against his political opponents, as it has in the past, because prosecutors who take an oath to support and defend the Constitution must uphold the rule of law.
