#Jets camp practice No. 3 recap:
—Aaron Rodgers dominated. Not only did he pull off some splash plays, but he also destroyed the integrity of the D by simply taking what they gave him. Initially, the dinking and dunking was the necessary day-starter. It serves a purpose, as a

- #Jets camp practice No. 1 recap: —The level to which Aaron Rodgers lifts the play of the entire roster is something that, though it’s obvious, I don’t think has truly yet been appreciated. Rarely does a talented young roster find itself with such a dire need at QB. He was fine
- Unbelievable. I cannot express to you how impressive a job that was by the New York #Jets defensive coaching. Incredible from a variety of angles. What was Nick Sirianni doing? You don't let the Jets score there. With two timeouts, you limit them to a FG, go down two points,
- For everybody saying, "I've never seen Zach Wilson play like this before," I ask you, "Have you ever seen the #Jets offensive game plan actually play a modern-style offense?" Honestly, this isn't rocket science. Take what the D gives you, as opposed to game-planning around your
- The New York Jets did NOT make a mistake by unloading Sam Darnold. ***The unforgivable mistake was instead NOT understanding how important a Kevin O’Connell or Kyle Shanahan-type head coach is in today’s NFL. I don’t care if Darnold played 80 years in a Jets uniform: Nothing
- Sauce Gardner just locked up Elijah Moore, ZW on the attempt. Folks, the change of direction in this kid’s hips, at his length, is near-fictional. A human should not have this ability. “Not a joke.” #Jets
- Watched the #Jets v Bills tape. Takeaways: —Zach Wilson has improved in a major yet subtle way. The little things, finer details such as stepping up in the pocket and not freaking out when the rush is folding around him, standing firm and delivering short balls without it
- Spring of 1994, when O.J. Simpson did his White Bronco thing: —#NYR win Presidents Trophy, are East No. 1 seed, and win the Cup. —Knicks are East No. 2 seed, make NBA Finals. Spring of 2024, when O.J. became very dead: —NYR win Pres, No. 1 seed. —Knicks No. 2 seed. Crazy.
- I'll tell ya what ... in what has to be the most shocking turn of events I've ever witnessed (in one football game), what Zach Wilson has put on tape at the end of this game is mind-boggling (after taking the awful fourth-down sack). Look at him; he's composed. His mind isn't
- Kudos to the New York #Jets defense. Kudos to Robert Saleh and Nathaniel Hackett for the third-down call that was intercepted by Surtain. Kudos to Zach Wilson for attempting it (in spite of the poor throw, although yes, Surtain was all over him and the momentum slowed big time
- If the Jets turn it around, it would have started with Joe Douglas not rushing to dish out a mega contract to safety Jamal Adams. I don’t think folks realize how difficult that was for a young general manager in that spot. Fan/media pressure, best player, etc. #TakeFlight
- I think the most positive and legitimate takeaway from this Elijah Moore situation is the following: Actual, real-life football adults are now running this New York #Jets organization---an idea that should be neither unrealized nor downplayed.
- Also, AVT is the New York #Jets best player. Period. Although he’s talented, talent is not the only consideration. He’s a football player. He’s reliable, no-nonsense, available, versatile, and you never hear a peep from him. Sauce will eventually catch him, but not yet.
- If you believe it's a coincidence that Zach Wilson's best-ever game comes in the same week his defensive-minded head coach told the world that he should, "Let it rip," I have no additional words for you. A clear game-plan shift has happened with the New York #Jets. I saw a bit
