It’s up to 13 million views and at least 12.5 million were me watching it repeatedly.
Vladdy Jr. just did "DAAAAAA YANKEES LOSE!" 🤣

Not all of you follow sports. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander just completed one of the best seasons in NBA history. He’s from Hamilton Today was his day to celebrate There was no reason for him to (literally) wrap himself in the Canadian flag. But he did. We should all be proud

This isn’t funny. This will never happen. The United States has gone from a trusted ally to Canada to the biggest threat our country has faced in my lifetime. The damage the United States is doing will likely last the rest of my life. No country will ever trust the US again
Trump: "Canada was meant to be the 51st state."

Snell’s talking a lot of shit here about the Jays lineup for a guy who gave up 10 runs in 11 innings in the World Series - 14 hits and 7 walks in 11 innings - a 4.56 SIERA. You weren’t good, so drop the excuses.
Snell: “I’m not one to make excuses… it’s just pretty unlucky. Only so much you can do, and that’s baseball.”

This will never happen. Americans need to understand the damage this has done to the relationship between our countries. No Canadian government is going to trust the United States government in my lifetime again. That’s truly tragic but this is what the US chose.
Leavitt: "He feels strongly that it would be very beneficial for the Canadian people to be the 51st state of the United States."

To put 19.3 million Canadians in context, 19.8 million Canadians voted in the last election. Game 6 is Friday.
🚨Game 5 of the World Series is the new most-watched Blue Jays game EVER with an average audience of 7.2 million viewers on Sportsnet. 👀 Through five games, the World Series is averaging 6.4 million viewers, with 19.3 million Canadians tuning in at some point. ⚾️🇨🇦

Tonight was certainly Shane Bieber’s last start of 2025. He wasn’t elite Bieber coming back from surgery for the Jays but was a hugely valuable starter for the Jays. Hope they sign him this winter and we get to watch him at his best for years to come.

One of the classiest moves last night was Jose Bautista turning down all post-game, on-field interview requests with versions of ‘this is about the current players, not about me. Focus on them’. Being aware and humble like that hit me.

Peter MacKay has (a) quite clearly wanted to be Prime Minister of Canada his entire life; and (b) had access to the best education this country has to offer. Given (a) and (b) - he really has no excuse not be able to speak French. And yes, it does it matter.

Lots of casual Canadian Jays fans tuning in - let me emphasize how improbable Yesavage is Yesavage had never thrown a professional pitch 6-months ago Guys don’t go from A ball to dominating playoff games in a year. Baseball just doesn’t work that way. It’s a silly movie script
Trey Yesavage still has his entire rookie season ahead of him. It’s impossible to overstate how critical Yesavage has been to the Jays since he got called up. They aren’t here without him. What a start tonight - Jays fans will be talking about tonight 20 years from now.

For thoughts on bad fielding shortstops being willing to play other positions to help the team…let’s go to Derek Jeter for comment
“Well he’s never played 2nd base so it’s a good time to try it, in the World Series.” ‼ Our short stops @derekjeter and @AROD offer their thoughts on Bo Bichette playing his first MLB game at 2nd base tonight in Game 1.

Andrew Scheer is 39 years old. If Andrew Scheer never gets elected again in his life, his MP pension is worth more than $3 million. Andrew Scheer has also been living in free taxpayer owned housing since he was 32-years old. But please, go on Conservatives.
Justin Trudeau shouldn’t be sending taxpayers the bill for his millionaire lifestyle. #cdnpoli

Andrew Scheer: ‘my 6-year old negotiated me into the ground until I had no choice but to give him gallons of chocolate milk each day’ Also Andrew Scheer: ‘I would have negotiated a much better NAFTA deal with Donald Trump than PM Trudeau did’
