Sharing your life with animals is such a wonderful experience. Its also heartbreaking when they pass away. Rosie died on Thursday, she fell asleep in her favourite sunbathing spot. She was 11. She was such a beautiful soul.

- Twitter is a hard scroll these days, images of genocide, war, climate breakdown. It can all get too much for people who care. Hopefully an image of Charlie, finally feeling safe after he came to us may lift your day a little bit.

- Quite a few new followers have asked to see Charlie all grown up, he's 7 now. Here he is with Helen. He seems to be cheering people up, so we'll have daily Charlie pics for a while.
- After over a decade of living with foxes, it makes me laugh, hunters telling me what foxes are really like. If you only ever see an animal in fear of its life, you do not know an animal. Me with my old mate Charlie, I've learnt so much from him.
- Brilliant news. @nationaltrust members have voted to ban hunting on their land. A massive well done to all involved in making this happen.
