- I can’t say I’m an expert on the Handmaid’s Tale. Does the plot involve a woman graduating from law school, getting high-powered clerkships, becoming a highly regarded law professor and jurist, then possibly ascending to the highest court in the land?

- Even if you are partisan Democrat, even if you are alarmed by developments in Fla, Tx, and Az, even if you oppose re-opening, there is *zero* case to be made for Andrew Cuomo as the great conquering hero of covid

- A superb speech, tough but appropriately so, gave our forefathers their due, invoked the wonders of American culture, and accurately stated the stakes of the culture war—Trump’s best since Warsaw
- His point about how alleged misinformation was suppressed and, with time, emerged as the truth (or at least as entirely reasonable) is utterly unanswerable and should create a profound sense of modesty among the cancellers, if they are capable of regret or reflection

- Well, that easily was the most outlandish press conference ever held by a team of lawyers representing the President of the United States
