    Our colleague Tim Rosaforte passed away today after a battle with aggressive Alzheimer’s. Just 66. Beloved in golf. Broke stories, but never his word. Unselfish, tough but tender, trusted friend who’d do anything for you, a genuinely good soul. May his memory be a blessing.

    Told by tournament organizer mayor of Louisville now involved along with PGA of America officials, that Scottie has been “world class” in how he’s handling it, that w/ loss of life & ensuing chaos “everyone is deeply saddened.”

    Sad to hear of the passing of GC original/CBS mainstay Peter Oosterhuis. Fine player, beat Arnie & Johnny M in Ryder Cup, won Eur Tour Order 4 strt yrs, + 81 Canadian. As a broadcaster, elegant simplicity. Sweet, gentle soul, he played and served golf w grace and distinction.

    Golf lost a good one. Andy Bean passed away at 70. Gentle giant, Bermuda grass specialist with 4 of his 11 Ws in FL. Gator legend. Man of great faith, generous heart, loved fishing and family. Condolences to wife Debbie, their three children and all the grandkids.
