Now would be a good time for @GaryGensler to redeem himself by walking back the false critique of @Uniswap calling it "decentralized in name only" when it's both transparent and immutable 1/2

Isn’t breaking your bank deposits into 250k chunks and spreading across banks just Sybil attacking the FDIC airdrop?

I'm all for hearing the best arguments in the proof of work vs proof of stake debate, but lately most of the anti-PoS arguments I'm hearing are just misrepresentations of PoS I've especially been seeing a lot of that from @LynAldenContact lately A few clarifications:

Instead of cozying up to @SBF_FTX, he should have been calling for @FTX_Official to be more like @Uniswap Gary, this is the perfect time to show growth and reverse course 2/2

Maximalist logic: Maxi: “#Bitcoin will win because institutions will only adopt $BTC” *institution buys $ETH Maxi: “see, #Ethereum is bad because institutions are taking over” If either outcome (institutions adopting $ETH or not) means $ETH is bad, you don’t have an argument

The argument “it applies to a small group, therefore it’s not bad” isn’t a good one

Enough with the hate on @0xPolygonLabs from ETH people -zkEVM is a rollup -PoS chain is converting to validium We’ve seen how much these purity tests have damaged the btc maximalists. There’s no place for it here

This is incorrect. Running a node in ETH vs BTC is no different and requires no staking Debate in good faith and based on facts is welcome. This isn’t. And it hurts the #Bitcoin community more than any other
If you want to have a voice in the #Ethereum network, you need to stake 32 $ETH. Cost about $40-50k. If you want to have a voice in the #Bitcoin network, you need to run your own node. Cost about $200. One is controlled by the wealthy, the other by the people.

Bitcoiners have a tenuous relationship with the truth. Here’s the real chart right now:

Disappointing to see an American politician make hating an entire group of people/industry a core part of their platform Not to be hyperbolic, but this is the kind of scapegoating we have seen from the worst leaders in human history

It's no secret that I think #Bitcoin needs to fix its security in order to survive long term. With no improvements to its security model, I think it has 10-15 years at most to survive. Here are the improvements I think could save it:
