- Our immigration courts are taking so long that people are being held hostage while they wait to see a judge or get an appeal. As people—even those with lawyers—wait in ICE detention centers, they are suffering and sometimes losing their lives.

- This week on the House Floor, I gave a shout out to Davison Igbinosun, a NJ native and new NFL draft pick for the Buffalo Bills. Davison is a graduate of Union High School and was NJ’s top recruit in the 2022 high school class. I’m excited to see Davison make NJ-10 proud! 🏈

And instead of demanding oversight, Republicans want to give ICE $70B on top of the $170B they've already given to ICE, all to please Trump. Their loyalty to Trump is a betrayal of human rights.The U.S. Senate has passed a bill that would allocate an additional $70 billion for DHS and ICE. These agencies already have a combined $100 billion in unspent funds that were part of a larger DHS spending bill. The legislation now heads to the House.
