- I was a crappy high school student — I had a 0.83 GPA at one point. It was at @cerritoscollege where I discovered my intellectual curiosity. I ran nonprofits for nearly two decades and now serve as Speaker of the California State Assembly. Community colleges matter.Did you go to a community college?
