It literally only takes an ounce of research to find that the teacher in question purposefully ignored an accommodation that was being made for this kid which directly resulted in what was a violent meltdown. The school failed this kid.

Does that make the violent outburst ok? Ofcourse not, but a 5 year prison sentence is NOT going to do anything but make things worse down then road. There are countless other more productive ways to address this, and frankly this just feels...

Nah, this take is good. "Evil races" ARE boring, uninteresting, and lazy. And that's all ignoring the mountains of problematic allegory utilizing that trope always brings one way or another. It's far more interesting, and fun, to give antagonists an actual motivation.
