- It wasn't parodying Bluey, it was just using their licenced characters in a violent joke. A children's entertainment company is going to want to protect their IP and reputation. I swear, people don't even bother to learn what words mean.looooool those absolute COWARDS in Australia took down our Bluey parody with no right to appeal. In fairness who can possibly tell that this is a parody🥴Readers added contextThe takedown screenshot shows that the video was removed due to an alleged trademark violation - not copyright. In the US (where Flashgitz and YouTube are based), parody is not a consideration of fair use in relation to trademarks. Australian law is irrelevant. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fair_use_…
- Replying to @blue48500859A parody is a (usually) humerously exaggerated (generally mocking) imitation, IMO this just used the characters & setting of Bluey, without actually parodying the content itself.
- I love how the insipid gatekeepers have shown themselves to be the actual 'tourists' that they constantly accused everyone else of being.
- GW has made it VERY clear that the chuds aren't welcome. 40k is not your bigoted safe-space. The more you double down, the more Games Workshop will make changes and additions you don't like.
- Being a hobbyist is different to being a fan:🧵 Being a fan of 40k is fine! There's good books & video games, and it's a fun setting But it's a different level of involvement to assembling, painting, & playing with minis, which is the hobby The reason I'm making this post.. 1/
- Replying to @scrowderActually, yes. Plenty of cis women do shave or pluck their facial hair. Estimates vary, but it's probably a bit under 10%, many of whom have PCOS (poly cystic ovarian syndrome). Ethnicity may also play a part, as darker/coarser head hair = darker/coarser body and facial hair.
- The absolute madlads at the War Thunder forums did it again! This time with the Thai military training documents on the Chinese VT-4. No power in the 'verse can stop them!
- Replying to @akudenreberuNo, Plato defined man as a featherless biped animal. Diogenes brought in a plucked chicken, which fit the description. Plato then added some bullshit about 'having broad nails' to cover his arse.
- Without these rabid incels trying to attack Indy games, I wouldn't have heard about this nifty looking character-driven metroidvania that the lead developer made to help him process his grief over his father's death. Definately going to pick this up & give it a go, thanks!
- Honestly? I think 'they were always there' is the most lore-respectful way FemStodes could've been added. The mysterious bio-alchemy process that the Emperor created is canonically perfect. Pulling a Cawl/Primaris or 'warp did it' would've undermined that. (art by @ratton_el)
