    U.S. service members and Allies are working tirelessly to safely evacuate individuals from Kabul. Ramstein Airmen have been preparing around-the-clock to provide support, such as temporary lodging, as the base receives aircraft carrying evacuees in the coming days.

    #Airmen have provided compassionate care to Afghan children since the first #OperationAlliesRefuge flight arrived at @RamsteinAirBase 12 days ago. Medical teams here and at @LRMC_Landstuhl have welcomed 12 children born to evacuees. #AfghanEvac @USArmy @MilitaryHealth

    Yesterday, the medical professionals at #Ramstein Air Base and Rhine Ordnance Barracks completed MMR and Varicella vaccinations for evacuees from #Afghanistan. In less than 72 hours, nearly 9000 people safely received both vaccines. A tremendous effort to keep people healthy.

    A young evacuee from #Afghanistan receives the MMR and Varicella vaccines at #Ramstein as part of an effort to vaccinate evacuees prior to travel to onward locations. Over two days medical teams at Ramstein and Rhine Ordnance Barracks have vaccinated more than 7300 evacuees.

    Our daily #OperationAlliesRefuge update from our @StateDept colleagues: To date, @RamsteinAirBase has facilitated ~73 aircraft departures carrying ~20,932 evacuees en-route to the #USA or other safe destinations. (As of Sep 6, 2021, 10 a.m.)
