We can report sadly that Deane Lester has passed away tonight at Melbourneโs Alfred Hospital aged 54.
Our condolences go to Deaneโs family including mum Sandra and his partner Leanne.
We're shattered to tell you that Mike Moroney sadly died in his sleep this morning.
What a legacy the Melbourne Cup-winning trainer leaves behind.
