- I went to a boys-only catholic missionary school in Kolkata. They would not tolerate raakhi, mauli, tika being worn in school. Students speaking to each other in “mother tongue” during school hours were severely reprimanded, given remarks in their diary for indiscipline.
- I want India’s multi-millionaire farmers - many of whom are behind the alleged “protests” - to start paying income tax. They run businesses just like others, why should non-farming businesses effectively subsidize rich farmers. India needs to change its tax policy.
