    The Mystery House is Homestead Plantation in Port Allen, built 1915 to replace the decaying 19th century home of the same name just down the road. It was refurbished sometime after 2014, thankfully ending any fear that it had been abandoned to 8 years of Hurricane Seasons. (2)

    We've recently been made aware that Paul Haddad, voice of Leon in the original Resident Evil 2, has died this week following a battle with stage-3 throat cancer. Thoughts are with family and friends.
