- Congrats to Laker Head Coach David Rexroat. Coach Rexroat voted 4th Region Coach of the Year.
- Final: State Championship at KY Proud Park St X 11 Lakers 1 Lakers finish the season as State Runner up w/ a record of 31-7 (most wins in a season by a Laker ⚾️ team) Fantastic season that these boys, parents and RC community will remember for years to come. Job well done!
- With that win, Coach Rexroat becomes RCHS Baseball’s winningest Head Coach. This win gives him 440 wins as Laker skipper. He passes Hall of Fame coach Terry Wade. Congrats Rex!! #LakerTradition

- Today we were saddened to hear of the sudden passing of former Laker player, Joe Robertson. Joe was a member of Laker Baseball from 2014-2018. We are praying for family and friends of Joe. We will miss you 3

- David Rexroat was selected as 2018 4th Region Coach of the year!! Been coaching w David for 13 years... not sure anyone works harder to get the most out of his players than David. Rex doesn’t care about the accolades, but we are all happy that he received this recognition!!
- Lakers #1 fan, Larry “Flash” Wilson, passed away this morning. Flash has been a part of Laker Athletics since his high school years. His passion and pride for Laker sports and its athletes was unparalleled. Today he is reunited once again w his mom, Geraldine. RIP Larry
