- The scapegoating of Saint-Maximin has to stop. Would have gone down these past three seasons without him. Had a good game against Forest and a bad game against Brighton. Get over it. Get behind him. 4 points from 2 games. Stop moaning. #NUFC

- It’s a results business, except when it comes to Steve Bruce. In which case it’s a business where he can get whatever results he wants and you’re not allowed to criticise him, because it’s never his fault. Somehow it’s yours. #NUFC

- Steve Bruce is a bad football manager. His win percentage across all his clubs is poor. He says himself he isn't really into tactics. He belittles fans and talks the club down every week. Yet we are told we have to accept him and be grateful for losing. Why? #NUFC
- Why do #NUFC fans back Rafa despite bad results? -He gets us. He understands the city and the culture of the club. -He has over-achieved already to earn our faith. -He is an honest and honourable man. -Most importantly, he is standing up to Ashley. Rafa in. Rafa forever.
- That Ashley thinks it acceptable to raise season ticket prices with everything that’s going on tells you everything you need to know about him. He is a heartless, soulless, greedy, foul individual, who only exists to hurt other people. What a disgusting club @NUFC is on his watch
- Remember, you’re not allowed to moan. Steve Bruce is doing a great job. Ashley saved the club. The problem with #NUFC is that we all demand Champions League football. You have to be grateful and not ask where the money - half a billion quid in TV deals for starters - has gone.
- I refuse to take lectures on what the North East needs from people who have never been. Successive governments have failed the region, and sneering journalists would do well to understand its history before they start shaming civilians for wanting investment in the area. #NUFC
