    Afewerki & Abiy actively considering military action to settle dispute with Tigrai. They are deaf to calls for dialogue, de-escalation. A war is coming. Eritrean troops making provocative maneuvers on border. International community indulged Abiy. It bears full responsibility.

    Tigrayans are the hardiest people in the world. Proud and unbendable. Unspeakable crimes have been committed against them. The world abandoned them. They will pull through this dark period. Am sure about that.

    Tigrayans are the only people who repulsed a genocidal war and won - resoundingly. Without any help from the world. They refused to be victims of genocide. They opted to die collectively trying to be free instead of living on their knees for decades They earned my respect.

    My father served in Kenyan security forces for 40 yrs - at senior levels. My sis first police woman in northern Kenya. As a family we as Kenyan as anyone can get. Yet my daughter is struggling to get an ID. "Bring your grandfather's birth certificate". The vetting is unending.
