    Being on the side of having helped on security before. YOU DO NEED SOMETHING. But it shouldn't be cops. Find agencies that are private security that are based around convention space/ venue space experience and know the mindset. You call the cops if truly need. That's it

    So a first year con managed to have all their DJs registered comped. Had a fun time on CDJ 3ks if desired. And most importantly. WAS ALLOWED TO PLAY MUSIC UNCENSORED AFTER 10PM. A very good weekend. Thanks @StratosFur
