    This is DFW folks... don't take my word for it - take the non-partisan branch of the government that categorizes and divides for the census. The DFW deniers would probably have you believe there are 72 distinct regions of Texas - and we can't have regional conversations.

    Man. SOC Social Media is melting down over this loss. People threatening to fight each other, drive to people's houses.. Go hug a kid, reflect on playing 48 games in 3 years, compliment the champions instead of acting a fool..

    Just heard a commercial on a Dallas radio station recruiting Middle School teachers in Odessa starting at $75,000 a year with a $10,000 signing bonus. Crazy.

    The Longview vs. Beaumont West Brook game outdrew every quarterfinal game of the 2018 world cup. How's that for comparison of #txhsfb on the world stage? The closest game was: Russia 2-2 Croatia (3-4 pens) 7 July, 2018 Attendance 44,287

    The biggest shock in the playoffs since Rowlett defeated Allen in 2007 (in my opinion) happened tonight when Richardson Pearce defeated Cedar Hill. On a couple of computer polls, I saw Cedar Hill a 40 point favorite with 95% win probability.

    UIL attendance was down because the stadium/UIL/whoever makes those decisions priced themselves out of higher attendance. Attendance was 10% down but prices were more than 10% up depending on which metrics you use. As long as there's a spot available, prices should be cheap.

    As happy as I am for Duncanville, can anyone create a logical statistical argument against Galena Park North Shore? Beating Katy twice by double digits. Beating Lake Travis by 41. Beating state finalist West Brook by 48. Samples has never won the big one.. North Shore has.

    Now I'm just going to put it out there - does anyone have a better Coach of the Year in 2018 than @Coach_JWTucker with Haltom? Meets all the criteria. 10-0. District champion. Led a team out of the cellar. Exceeded all expectations. What a run for Haltom this year!
