    In 1923, Adolf Hitler led a failed coup. He was treated leniently. Germany moved on. A decade later, he was dictator, and the worst disaster in the history of the civilized world ensued. In 2021, when the president of the United States leads a failed coup, we must not move on.

    MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell said "It's both sides" in talking about political violence and suggested that threats against Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger were the fault of the left. Does she understand who hates Cheney and Kinzinger right now? Does she understand anything?

    I’m tired of people saying it would be a “bad precedent”to indict an ex-president or throw a senator in jail for defying a subpoena. We’ve had a lot of bad precedents lately. These times are not normal. Let’s have some good precedents to beat back the rise of fascism.
