Not sure what all was in the One Big Beautiful Bill?
Check out AAF's new One Big Beautiful Booklet, a compendium of short (mostly 1-page) memos explaining 60 key reforms in OB3. The memos are designed to be informative but accessible.
Since @KevinRobertsTX Chief of Staff,
@RyanMNeuhaus sees fit to passive-aggressively ask for my and my colleagues' resignation, I'll just point out most of us have been at Heritage a lot longer than he has. But if losing my job at Heritage is the consequence of posting "NAZIS
Can families that homeschool say it’s like they’re renting their property from the government since they reject half the services provided by their local government, often for religious reasons?
There are some who just don't know what Fuentes is all about - including people who watched Tucker's 2 hour pattycake session with him. This is a small sampling of the cesspool.
The problem isn't so much that Tucker did the interview but how he did it.
From 1913 to June 1914:
- Congress ratified the 16th Amendment & enacted the income tax.
- Woodrow Wilson became President.
- The Fed was created, sparking 110 years of inflation.
- Archduke Ferdinand was assassinated, setting in motion WW1, Hitler & WW2.
How about a do over?
Is the $79b Tax bill that the House is debating actually a tax relief bill?
47% of the $79b is welfare and subsidies to housing developers. A large part of the rest is retroactive corp. payouts that offer no "relief" to middle class taxpayers.

Update: IRS dropped a compendium to its operating plan. The IRS plans to spend $0 out of of its extra $80 billion of funding on taxpayer services between 2027-2031.
By 2031 they plan to spend almost 3 times as much on audits/enforcement as they do now.

Americans should be rooting for DOGE to succeed in streamlining and cutting waste from the federal government. The commitment that so many in DC seem to have to seeing DOGE fail speaks volumes about where their interests lie.
There’s something in Biden's budget for everyone—everyone who loves tax hikes, that is.
1. Taxes on income before it's earned
2. 2nd highest corporate tax of 38 OECD countries
3. Near doubling of capital gains tax
4. Surtax on small business income

The new "tax relief" bill follows the 2017 Trump tax cuts. But it sure doesn't follow in TJCA's footsteps.
TCJA's individual relief: 95% tax cuts vs 5% cash for people who pay no income tax.
The 2024 bill: <9% individual tax cuts vs 91% cash payments. But it gets worse...

Love what DOGE is doing, but this is a bad idea. There’s no need to send “dividend checks.” The dividend we get from slashing spending is that it brings inflation into check.
But if the government sends out stimmy checks, inflation will come back with a vengeance.
Actually you’re adding $332 billion of Green New Deal credits, many of which will be used to allow corporations to pay zero dollars of federal income tax.
