    SaskPower is providing 153 MW of electricity to AB this evening to assist them through this shortage. That power will be coming from natural gas and coal-fired plants, the ones the Trudeau government is telling us to shut down (which we won’t).

    I guess it’s not surprising that the Liberals voted to support invoking the Emergencies Act.   But the NDP had the chance to hold them accountable and stop this abuse of power.   They failed to do so. Never forget that.

    Quebec says there is “no social acceptability” for oil from western Canada. That’s funny.. there seems to be a lot of social acceptability for equalization payments from western Canada. Someone should check into that.

    Just to be clear, both Canada and the US will continue to import oil from Russia. Because our national governments consider the construction of oil pipelines from western Canada a greater threat than Russia, apparently.
