I would like to write a book on this one day. It's maybe my favourite topic. I wish I wasn't so easily baited by gender war slop...
The reality is, human culture never stagnates. Every culture sees themselves at odds with human sociocultural trajectory.
Conservatives see themselves fighting an ever liberalising trajectory, liberals with reactionary conservatism etc.
