- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday (07.09.2020) addressed a meet on the National Education Policy 2020 and its transformational impact. The conference was organized by the Ministry of Education.Our Vice-Chancellor Prof. Gurmeet Singh attended the online conference.
- Vice-Chancellor Prof. Gurmeet Singh congratulated Ms. Jochibed Vincent, the first women Nicobarese to complete Doctor of Philosophy in English at Pondicherry University under the guidance of Dr. H. Kalpana, Professor & Head, Dept. of English, Pondicherry University.
- Vice-Chancellor, Pondicherry University hoisted the National Flag at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Admin Building on the 74th Independence Day Celebration (15-08-2020) & delivered his Independence Day speech
- Pondicherry University receives Rs 206.94 crore grant from Centre for infrastructure development Our Vice-Chancellor Prof. Gurmeet Singh said the grant would be utilized to construct new buildings for various departments, hostels, research centres and staff quarters.
