    Update - Two boys, both aged 16, have been arrested in relation to an incident which saw a cat being thrown into the Manchester Ship Canal. The cat is safe and well and has received veterinary treatment. We would like to thank everyone for their support.

    Two teenagers have today been convicted of killing 18-year-old man Eddie O’Rourke outside a club in Runcorn. Joe Ward (pictured), 18, has been found guilty of murder and a 15-year-old boy has been convicted of manslaughter. Click the link for more details. socsi.in/SnVd3

    PCSO’s Barker & Buckles along with Chris Ord from the Kyujutsu Archery centre in Castlefields have today visited the lady who recently had her carved owl stolen. They have paid for a new sculpture & even took along a real owl to show her too. #HereForVictims #Community

    The family of Eddie O’Rourke have asked us to pass on their thanks to those who have left floral tributes outside the RBL in Runcorn following his death. They have also asked that rather than tributes being written on the walls well-wishers leave cards or notes that they can keep
