    It’s rlly been 7 yrs since I joined Twitter— PUBG news, datamines, leaks, game news, then indie game. The last one is not as hot ofc. But man, w/ how quiet the industry is atm (and recent news like Bungie). I hope for a miracle to happen: like a calm before the storm.

    Riot Games bought Wargaming’s Sydney gaming studio, the company behind World of Tanks and World of Warships, presumably for their expertise with MMO tech. Obv the new “Riot Sydney” could be involved with League of Legends’ upcoming MMORPG. What about a Battle Royale?

    PUBG: Black Budget is reportedly "coming soon." Extraction shooter developed w/ PUBG's gunplay in mind, by same dev Pawel "Smookie" Smolewski behind it. 2.5x2.5 km map occupied by roaming scavs and creatures, complete w/ a dynamic shrinking zone and underground boss fights.

    We're assuming this is "Project T"-- RIOT's upcoming MMO-FPS game. The name was originally leaked in a job post, then taken down. Referenced as "Unpublished R&D Product" referencing FPS since. Has seasons, "personal quarters progression," and possibly a Destiny 2 competitor.

    SPOILER: Arena Breakout: INFINITE raw gameplay footage. These devs doubled down and went w/ MINIMAL UI design. Time, Stance, and Compass are the only main things on screen. Gunplay looks solid and has weight. Sound is crisp and impactful.
