    The current extreme #heatwave in #Pakistan and #India as seen today, on the fourth intense hot day, by #Copernicus #Sentinel3 LST (Land Surface Temperature, not Air!). LST collected on April 29 shows max value exceeding 62°C/143°F. Gaps due to cloud/snow/nodata. #ClimateEmergency

    The first #Copernicus #Sentinel3 cloud free image of the #IberianPeninsula in July (9th) offers an impressive LAND SURFACE TEMPERATURE on the eve of the second #summer's #heatwave. Soil temperature (not air!) rose above 60 degrees C in #Spain and #Portugal. #OlaDeCalor @WMO

    #Italy in the grip of #heatwave, with peaks in #Rome, and #Florence, as showed by the Land Surface Temperature map of #Copernicus #Sentinel3. Mentre oggi sono stati superati i 40° C a #Roma e #Firenze, il satellite ha rilevato alle 11,28 UTC temperature del suolo sopra i 55° C.
