Just announced: Sweden will donate a new military capability to strengthen Ukraine’s air defence. Package 16 will be the largest 🇸🇪 military aid package yet at €1,16bln. Sweden will donate Airborne Surveillance and Control aircraft (ASC 890) to 🇺🇦. (1/6)

🇸🇪🇺🇦 Sweden can today present an artillery package worth approx. 300 million USD to Ukraine through package 18. Sweden will procure and donate 18 additional archer artillery systems and 5 ARTHUR (artillery hunting radar) systems to Ukraine. (1/5)

Today Sweden is announcing that we plan to contribute with multiple JAS Gripen fighter jets to two NATO operations in Poland. They consist of protection of NATO logistical support to Ukraine & Air policing over Poland. We stand ready to protect our allies & friends. (1/5)

🇺🇦🇸🇪Today, Sweden presented its largest military support package to Ukraine to date, valued at almost $1.6 billion. The package includes, among other things, support for Ukraine’s air defence, artillery, satellite communications, and maritime capacity. (1/6)

Today, Sweden can announce new air defence systems worth 1,2 billion SEK coming to 🇺🇦 through package 18. It includes among other things the new 🇸🇪 anti-air system TRIDON Mk2. It can help 🇺🇦 defend against drones, cruise missiles, aircrafts and armoured vehicles. (1/3)

🇸🇪 today announced the biggest military aid package to 🇺🇦 yet for approx. 1,2 billion USD. Apprx. 90 million USD will be allocated towards production of 🇺🇦 long-range missiles and drones. Sweden will also send military aid in the form of AT4:s to Moldova. (1/9)

🇸🇪🇨🇴I'm proud that Colombia today joins the Gripen E family, alongside Sweden, Brazil and Thailand. With the Colombian purchase of 17 Gripen E/F, our defence relations will deepen significantly & Colombia will receive one of the world’s greatest fighter jets. (1/4)

Today Sweden announced the largest support package to Ukraine yet. Package 15 will be worth 7,1 billion SEK (~$683 mln), bringing 🇸🇪 combined value of military assistance to Ukraine to 30 billion SEK. (~$2,9 bln). Continuing support is crucial for both 🇺🇦 and 🇸🇪 security. (1/6)

Today, Swedish and Danish defence procurement authorities have signed a contract with BAE Systems Hägglunds worth SEK25 billion to procure 205 CV 90 infantry fighting vehicles. 115 will go to 🇩🇰, 50 to 🇸🇪 and 40 are jointly procured by 🇩🇰 and 🇸🇪 for 🇺🇦. (1/3)

The government today presents a new military support package to Ukraine worth approx. 445 million USD. We continue to go from donation to the production of arms to Ukraine. With Sweden’s strong defence industrial base we are well equipped to undertake this transformation. (1/10)

Sweden will also donate its entire stock of armoured tracked personnel carriers (PBV 302) to support the reconstruction of new Ukrainian brigades. Sweden will also donate artillery ammunition and resources for maintenance of previously donated materiel. (3/6)

Ukraine is in a dire need of more military resources, not least artillery ammunition. Sweden will therefore support the Czech ammunition initiative with a contribution of around 30 million Euro. (1/4)
