- Early this morning an elderly man slipped and fell into the water while taking his morning walk at #Pittsburg Marina. This furry friend barked to wake his nearby owner who went to see what the fuss was about and saved the man struggling in the water! 🐶❤️ #DogsAreHeroesToo
- It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of 8 year old K9 Freddy. He wasn’t feeling well & it was discovered he had advanced, inoperable cancer. With over 350 deployments, he was a successful, loyal, old soul who loved treats and pets. Rest now, good boy ◾️💙◾️🐶
- Last night, @PittsburgPD Officers responded to a home in El Pueblo and learned a 7 year old had his bicycle stolen. Officers later located the bicycle in parts. Officer Simpson, Haller and E. Baker went and purchased a new bicycle and presented it to him. Look at that smile 💙

PPD is not participating in any enforcement for shelter in place.@PittsburgPD there are rumors circulating that your police department is pulling ppl over & asking for proof of employment or a valid reason for being outside of their homes.. is this true ? If so, you should definitely inform ppl that this is being done.
