- CHRIS JONES The club are devastated at the sudden passing of our joint chairman Chris Jones today at the age of just 50. Chris was well known in the local area as CL Jones painter and decorator and became involved with the club along with his wife Mandy during the last few years.
- Congratulations to Harley Thomas who made his debut for @CricketWales Under 13s today against Devon at Sudbrook, recording figures of 2/29. @pirate_juniors
- The Alan and Hilary Rees memorial bench is unveiled. A tribute to a special man and couple who are greatly missed.
- The club are delighted to confirm the appointments of club legends Mark Cox as Director of Cricket and Stuart Phelps as 1st XI captain for the 2023 season. Our thanks to Barney Huxtable who has stepped down as skipper after 3 years in the role.
- Our thoughts and sympathies are with Dan, Paul and the rest of the Rowe family

- Three special caps for three outstanding servants of the club. Ian Rees, Ray Cox and Mark Jones were presented with commemorative caps to mark 50 years of service to the club at our annual presentation last evening.
- Like so many other sports clubs in this town we have players, supporters, friends and family who are currently facing times of uncertainty. To all our brothers and sisters we will stand with you! Support Port Talbot and the British Steel Industry. #SaveOurSteel
- Our newly refurbished nets have been completed today in readiness for the season. A big thank you to @DurantCricket for their excellent work and also to @CricketWales @KeriChahal and @4grants for their support.
- It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our former player, chairman and life member Alan Rees after a long battle with illness. Alanโs association with the club stretched back to the 1960s and he was also a much respected league umpire in the SWCA cont.
- Congratulations to @pirate_juniors Elizabeth Cox and Heidi Davies who both made their regional debuts for @WestGlamcricket Under 10s today
- Congratulations to our 2nd XI on winning the @swpcl East title in thrilling fashion today. Well done to @stobinn and all the players
