- Micaiah Noel is Pipers first field events state champion in school history winning the shot put by 1 inch!
- Kylie Brockman qualifies for state with a huge personal record in the Javelin. Kylie threw 148’00” to make it to state. Congratulations!
- Piper High School boys 4 x 100 meter relay state champions. Brandon Snell, Devon Marshall, Dalton White, and David Holmes. Congratulations guys!
- Saniya Simmons is the STATE CHAMPION in long jump! Saniya had a personal record jump of 17’00.5”. Congratulations state champion Saniya!
- Cooper Beebe is Piper‘s first state medalist placing third in the shotput with a PR of 53’07.25”. Congratulations Cooper!
- It’s official, the girls team finishes state runner-up in the team competition! This is the best team finish in the girls track team school history. State team is Evelyn Vazquez, Kinley Brown, Saniya Simmons, Ayreona Carter, Abby Berner, and Aliyah Webb. We are so proud of you!
- Micaiah Noel breaks the oldest T&F School record at PHS last night in the shot put with a throw of 55'5.5"! Previous record was set in 1976.
- Kylie Brockman breaks her own javelin record the second meet of the season. Kylie threw five feet further than her previous record of 128’00” making the new record 133’00”. Great job Kylie!
- The track and field team had another school record broken in a meet at Tonganoxie. Kylie Brockman broke the javelin record with a throw of 117’09”. Congratulations Kylie!
- Grant Lockwood is the 5A state champion and set the 5A state record again in the 400m dash! Grant had an amazing performance in some very tough wind to run another 47.86. Congratulations on another big achievement!
- Jayden Henry is Piper’s first 2023 state champion! Jayden won the 110m hurdles and shattered the school record in the process running a 14.57. Jayden is Piper’s first hurdle state champion in school history. Congratulations!!!
- The boys team wins the regional track meet scoring 102 points. Congratulations! First time in school history any Piper track team has won the league and regional championship in the same season. We are very proud of you!
