98.3% of killings by police from 2013-2020 have not resulted in officers being charged with a crime.- This is enraging & outraging. Books are a lifeline to the outside world & a prisoner's future. Education is the antidote to incarceration, & in the BOP there are very few educational opportunities other than GEDA new policy at the Federal Bureau of Prisons would bans all books from being sent into federal facilities from outside sources and require incarcerated individuals to use an ordering system in which they must pay exorbitant prices. sent.pr/2r57chL via @laurenk_gill

GIF - I was locked up during a *regular* flu epidemic. It was fucking godawful. EVERYONE got sick. I was 34yo, superhealthy, fought it off for weeks & then could not move for 7 straight days.Getting sick in prison is scary, and even the most basic disease control measures are against the rules or simply impossible.
