- John MacArthur's influence in my life was inestimable. He was a precious mentor & friend for nearly 45 years. In the pulpit he was fierce, forceful, and full of earnest courage. In person, he was kind and gentle. This is a painful loss for the church; glorious triumph for John.
- My precious granddaughter Emmy fell and sustained a serious concussion. She had to undergo emergency brain surgery tonight. Surgery was successful, but join me in praying for her complete recovery.
- I spent an hour with John MacArthur in his home this morning. Though his illness is not the same as mine, we've faced an incredible number of the same trials and frustrations. Keep him in prayer. He may be gaining strength incrementally, but he still has a long uphill recovery.
- John MacArthur is recovering at home now. Keep him in your prayers.
- Please continue to pray for John MacArthur. He's been in the hospital for 2 weeks plus and is still undergoing tests and treatments.
- Replying to @Phil_Johnson_The best part is when (after being patient beyond the call of duty), the cop quotes Scripture. The worst part is the didactic hand-gesturing of Karen Karenina as she reels off these bits of Marxist doggerel she got from some worthless college professor.
- It’s good to hear a government official speaking truth so boldly and unashamedly.
00:00 - John MacArthur went to glory this evening at 6:17pm PST.
