    Both my big sisters watched me receive the masters certificate that they paid for. I ensured they both came to witness it. Expenses paid, God made it happen The university came to beg them to snap pics with the VC, the only African attires at the event πŸ˜† I hope I made them proud

    On Saturday will make exactly 10 years I stepped into UK. My first international travel in my life. It has been a journey, I thank God for. In that time, I completed Masters PhD got lecturer job got promoted to senior lecturer supervised masters and PhD students. I am grateful

    2014- I invested Β£10,000 for Masters 2016-Got full PhD scholarship 2020- Got lecturer job 2021-Got promoted to Senior lecturer I paid to come to UK I got scholarship from UK I am now getting paid to stay in the UK Depends on how you plan, investment can give return. Mine did πŸ™Œ

    I forgot to update on this, both sisters in this pic are now living in the UK with their families Their masters investment in me ten years ago, have replicated for them to be in the UK with their families It has paid countless times over, I thank God 😊

    I saw how UK changed a child, from a normal happy child brought into the country. Only after a year or so, she has made friends in school etc... everything changed. Parent could not control him, fear of social services too. Even the child was threatening them with abuse reports

    Exactly what happened to me. Got declined by uni. Ilorin for MPH because I had not completed NYSC. Got admission for MSc Public health in the UK,got PhD scholarship even before completing my masters. Got 2 jobs immediately after my PhD, got promoted just over a year of working

    I’m a lecturer but I still don’t know why international students come to UK and miss lectures. Your admission didn’t come easy so you must know that you should give extra effort to excel. That’s my 2 cents!

    Guess what? I got the job o, them give me the job. HOD said 90 people applied, they decided to give small me 😁 I've been away for few days because I went to interview for this role and I got the call this morning Wonder what I said at the interview πŸ€” My friend is over the moon
