The problem with cyclists: -They go too fast -They go too slow -They won't get on the sidewalk -They won't get off the sidewalk -They are rich hobbyists -They are folks who can't afford a car -They are entitled and demand bike lanes -They take the lane when there's no bike lane

The highest speed limit in the United States is 85 mph. Can anyone explain to me why basically every car and truck driven in the US can go faster than that on any public roadway? (Freedom is not an acceptable answer.)

One was designed to be practical for average suburban folks to carry stuff on a regular basis. The other was designed to make guys feel like they are tough and rule the road.

This is a perfect example of how folks label cyclists as insufferable. The delivery driver has done something illegal and dangerous, yet the rider who goes on social to advocate will be perceived as the jerk.

An accident is when a puppy piddles on the floor or a toddler drops an ice cream cone. If a grown man drinks 5 or 6 beers and punches it past another car on the right and winds up hitting and killing two guys riding bikes on a country road that's not an accident. That's murder.

I know we're all contemplating the pandemic, but check this out. Air quality in SoCal right now isn't good. It's incredible. Like numbers from another era. It's not just the rain. Having less traffic is making our city more livable. Think about it.

LOL you're Mr Freedom until people use pronouns of their choosing.

Reality: US cities are full of drivers going 15mph over the speed limit while playing with phones in 5000lb vehicles with illegal tinted glass. Police: Let's ticket cyclists going 1mph over a little known speed limit on a mixed use trail.

Follow-up: Why are manufacturers allowed to sell cars that can go WAY faster than the fastest legal speed? Why aren't speed governors deployed (as they are on e-bikes) to ensure drivers don't exceed certain speeds? Why aren't drivers who go super fast punished more severely?

Do you ever get the urge to talk to a therapist?

Of course he does. Volodymyr Zelensky rides a bicycle.

The driver of the red pickup was allowed to leave the scene with a $249 ticket for an improper lane change. Think about that.
Driver acting like a maniac just to get 1 car ahead in a line of traffic. We see it every single day. Apparently this scumbag had his 4-year-old in the car too. No sign will ever deter this lunacy.

Just three data points. The Nissan Altima can hit 130 mph. A Tesla Model 3 can hit 162 mph. An Audi RS5 can hit 180 mph. I don't know what to say but what the fuck?
