A new treatment for #stroke survivors is now available at @PennMedicine. Today @iahncajigas and Liming Qiu, MD implanted the first paired vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) device in a patient. Paired with physical therapy, VNS can help stroke survivors regain motor function.
