Thank you Nitish Kumar ji for freeing me from my increasingly untenable position of defending you and your policies. I wish you well in your ambition of being CM of Bihar at any cost.

- What is wrong in JNU having a web seminar on the Ramayana? The epic is a storehouse of wisdom. Gandhiji called it ‘the greatest book in devotional literature’. This reflex, artificial and illiterate secularism is condemnable.
- I urge Shri Nitish Kumar to reconsider support to the #CAB in the Rajya Sabha. The Bill is unconstitutional, discriminatory, and against the unity and harmony of the country, apart from being against the secular principles of the JDU. Gandhiji would have strongly disapproved it.
- Jyotiraditya gone. Sachin gone. Two of the most talented in the Congress. Vinaash kaale vipreet buddhi. Rahul Gandhi can ask someone to translate this for him.
- PM Modi’s inexplicable use of Twitter is an enigma wrapped in a mystery. When Sushant Rajput died, he tweeted his condolences. Greatly appreciated. When 20 of our braves are slaughtered by the Chinese, total silence. Amazing.
- According to news reports, there was a delay of 8 months in inviting bids for new oxygen plants after India declared the pandemic to be a disaster on 14 March, 2020. And, out of 162 oxygen plants to be operational, only 33 are. Will the government answer?
- Surprised to see Karan Thapar quoting me, and citing Prashant Kishor, in his book ‘The Devil’s Advocate’. Such a conversation with me did not take place as Karan recalls it, nor has Prashant ever spoken to me about Karan. The record must be set straight.
- The attempt by PM Modi to equate anyone who opposes him or his policies as being from Pakistan or with Pakistan is a highly crude way of devaluing, dismissing, and demeaning the debate and dissent which is an inherent part of a vibrant democracy.
- Dear @MamataOfficial ji, Please accept my resignation from the @AITCofficial. I want to thank you for the warm welcome accorded to me, and for your affection and courtesies. I look forward to remaining in touch. Wishing you all the best, and with warm regards, Pavan K. Varma
- This is the letter I have written to @NitishKumar today asking him how the JD(U) has formed an alliance with the BJP for the Delhi elections, given his own views on the BJP, and the massive national outrage against the divisive CAA-NPR-NRC scheme.
- To say that Dr Manmohan Singh and Hamid Ansari are secretly conspiring with Pakistan to defeat the BJP in the Gujarat elections, is so over the top that those making such allegations need to be told ‘Get well soon’.
- I was appalled by the manner in which @amitmalviya responded to questions asked by @sardesairajdeep. You may disagree with an anchor, but to descend to such a despicable personal attack, displays dangerous intolerance and arrogance. #Condemnable.
- If you sow hatred, you will reap violence. The brutal murder in Rajasthan of a Bengali migrant worker shames me as a Hindu, outrages me as a citizen, and revolts me as a human being. How much more will they debase Hinduism for their pol agenda?
- If what has been reported is true, BJP MLA and former J&K Minister Lal Singh’s open death threat to journalists who do not tow the line, saying that they will meet the same fate as Shujaat Bukhari, is shocking. He should be proceeded under the law, and the BJP must expel him.
