Brinks is forcing my parents to pay almost 4k to end their contract even though their home BURNED TO THE GROUND Is it legal to force someone to pay for a service when their home is no longer standing? This is what is left of their home, seems criminal. Anyone have advice?

Screamed as we dug through the rubble of my parents home when I saw the stunning Batchelder fireplace tiles from 100 yrs ago survived. Took every single tile out 1 by 1 to rebuild their fireplace for them. Our city has lost so much history/crafstmanship that can never be replaced

This project was during covid & I just had a baby w/ no childcare because of lockdowns & I am the GC so I brought my baby to construction site every day for her 1st year of life & potty trained her on site. Love knowing I gave my blood sweat & tears so this will be hers one day

My 2 year old just took a dump on the front lawn & asked me if I wanted to see it. How’s your day going?

My favorite hat trick in small spaces is taking any small unused corner & turning it into a “dining room” Gives the feeling of a larger unit while maximizing space Here I reused a pair of 100 yr old benches & relocated doorways which freed up space for a larger kitchen

I grinded my entire 20s w/ 2 kids building my RE portfolio & watched as all my friends had the time of their lives w/ no responsibilities Turning the corner into 30 feeling financially secure was worth every struggle No regrets, I’d do it all over again 100x
What you choose to work on is one of the most important decisions of your life. Choose wisely. Many entrepreneurs in their 40s, 50s & 60s now living off passive income made the choice in their 20s to design their lives in a specific way. Made less in the beginning.

Being a bootstrapped real estate developer sometimes means spending your weekends moving used wet toilets by yourself We call this “passive income”
