    I just received some AWESOME news! This is the best story I’ve ever been able to break...sophomore Anthony Myers has been cleared to play tomorrow for the @BerksCatholicFB Saints! Anthony had recently been diagnosed with stage 3 brain cancer. #17Strong!

    Anthony Myers was not only a great athlete, he was a great person. He was an extremely hard worker and a class act. A high character person. He will be missed. RIP #17

    Some unfortunate news. I was laid off at WEEU. Not sure what the future holds. I want to thank all of the coaches, AD’s & BCIAA officials. Many of you have become great friends! I appreciate all of the listeners & followers over the past 21 years. Your feedback has been awesome

    We saw Chad Henne & Alex Anzalone on national TV on Sunday. We watched James Develin in recent Super Bowls. Michal Menet will be in the NFL next season. Lonnie Walker is in an NBA game today. I hope people realize the talent from this area. This is the 1 percentile! Rare air

    Wilson senior guard Stevie Mitchell was named Mr. PA Basketball! Mitchell is the Bulldogs’ all-time leading scorer. He averaged nearly 26 points this season. Mitchell is committed to Marquette. Congratulations @StevieM259 @MarquetteMBB @Wilson_Bulldogs

    James Franklin is at Exeter HS this morning! Eagles’ TE Joey Schlaffer is committed to PSU. The 6’6, 215-pound senior is averaging 23.7 yards per catch with 6TD. He’s also averaging 11 yards on 7 carries with a TD. @PennStateFball @ExeterAthletics @ExeterTwpFB

    Some very sad news to pass on...Anthony Myers passed away at 4:20pm today after a battle with brain cancer for the past year. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and the entire @WeAreBC55 community. Anthony’s coaches and teammates always spoke so highly of him.

    Matt Coldren of @Wilson_Bulldogs is the Class 6A Coach of the Year in Pennsylvania. He led the Bulldogs to a 28-1 record. Wilson won its first District 3 championship this season. The Bulldogs also won the Berks County title. Coldren has been Wilson’s head coach for 19 years.
