I only read the first few and realized they were all widely publicized already, none is them are scary, and in any case I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone who isn’t a teenager who thinks their boss is scary.

A “color blind society” is code for a white society; it’s cultural erasure. There’s no more reason to find a color-blind society laudable than a society that is blind to any religious or ethnic heritage and subculture.

I’m not leftist but I do tend to disagree with a lot of the reactionary right populist takes. I want to engage them seriously, and I come here to do that. Not even to convince anyone, but just to understand. Yet almost no one like that is willing to really explain themselves.

This post is very confusing. I had to read the attachments to make sense of it. She wasn’t deported, she was denied re-entry. This is indeed a serious worry for all visa holders who leave and come back. I don’t think it’s ok. But the post is inaccurate on a key point.

He’s tall and sturdy and not bad looking. He’s close in age. He is clean and presentable. Probably, he’s a nice person and has good values and is ambitious in all the right ways. Maybe he’s a compassionate and supportive partner and a good dad. Not really sure what you think.
