Iceland Foods at Kennedy Centre, West Belfast will be opening their store between 8-9am for the elderly starting this Tuesday. The wider public are asked to respect this hour as it has been allocated for elderly people only. Would be great to see other stores now do the same 👏

It’s extremely disappointing to see my election posters alongside this sectarian message on an eleventh night bonfire. Leaders in the unionist community need to call these actions out and put a stop to this once and for all.

We were told about a young boy today who had mentioned to friends that Santa is sick this year and isn't able to visit his house. His Mum was really struggling. This is how the community responded at @Foodstock__. A happy boy now on Christmas Day we hope. Well done West

Racist thugs burnt out Ahmad's grocery store on the Donegall Road in South Belfast last year. Glad to support him in his journey towards opening a new shop on the Falls Road today. Good to see the whole community getting behind him and wishing him the very best. He has worked

After being foced out of his business and community by racist thugs I was delighted to help Ahmad set up a new shop on the Falls Road in the heart of West Belfast, which will open soon. He recieved such a warm welcome today from everyone we met. Show him some support if you can.

Dissapointed to be approached by a group of men on the Shankill this evening and told that we weren't welcome. This won't deter me from continuing to work for people in this community. I am running to represent everyone in West Belfast. @sdlplive

Incredible show of community solidarity from the people of the Falls Road tonight after a group of young people attacked a shop owned by a migrant family. A strong message sent that we won't tolerate this behaviour. I have met with police and they are currently acting upon
