- This morning, the Ontario Legislature sang God Save the Queen to begin the sitting day. This is a new tradition will happen on the first Monday of the month along with the national anthem. #GodSaveTheQueen
00:00 - I am deeply concerned, angry and frustrated with the findings of a recent report on antisemitism in Ontario schools. Schools must be a safe place for every student to learn in a respectful and supportive environment. I expect school boards across the province to focus on
- All school boards across the province should be put on notice - where decision-making does not prioritize student success, where it does not prioritize resources for teachers, I will not hesitate to step in and redirect that funding back into the classroom.
00:00 - I’m done with school boards that work outside of their mandate and refuse to make the right decisions to support students and teachers in the classroom.
00:00 - I was honoured to sit down with HRH Prince Edward, the Duke of Edinburgh this week to discuss how Ontario can expand The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award across the province. This award recognizes the remarkable achievement of youth who have developed vital life skills
- If Bonnie Crombie won't listen to us, maybe she'll listen to herself. Mayors know their communities best. We shouldn’t destroy communities by forcing four-, six- or even ten-storey buildings into residential neighbourhoods.

Canada’s “war-time” housing response created simple pre-approved designs that could be built quickly, to build homes we needed when our soldier came home. It’s time to take that idea into the 21st century.
00:00 - I'm glad to hear of the resignation of the trustee with Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board who refused to repay his share on a trip to Italy that ended up costing taxpayers nearly $190,000. It shouldn't have taken legislation to get to this point, and he still
00:00 - I’ve been clear: school boards must put students first. When they fail to meet that responsibility, we will act decisively. The legislation I introduced last week, if passed, would allow me to step in quickly when a board strays from its core mission.
00:00 - It is an honour to serve as Ontario’s Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing. I’m glad to have @RobFlackEML by my side as Associate Housing Minister to help carry out our government’s promise to get at least 1.5 million homes built by 2031. 🏡🏗️
