It is with profound sadness that we learn of the passing of Padraigh Griffin from @clongaa. This most talented and unassuming person was so often the difference between victory and defeat for his beloved club . He was a member of the 1996 and 2009 county winning side. May he RIP

As the #Tokyo2020 comes to an end, a word of thanks to @jacquihurley , the Ballinhassig lady from over the road for keeping us informed both on the national broadcaster and through her social media posts on the happenings from afar. 👍

Just a reminder that as and from midnight tonight, a border check will come into being in Innishannon, only full time West Cork residents will be allowed through. Tax exiles and holiday home owners will be turned back . #StayAtHome

Didn’t think, that I would see the day when one can watch England play a major soccer match on the our national broadcaster, while having to depend on Sky Sports in order, to view @OfficialCorkGAAV @LimerickCLG in the @MunsterGAA SHC. Game live on @C103Cork

It appears the rumour that county minor managements are either directly or covertly preventing “their players” from lining out with school teams is gaining traction !! Disgraceful, if true !!

Not sure, if Mark Collins will ever play inter county again, but over the past number of years, Mark was one of Cork’s leading players. Regardless of competition, venue or score line, he was on many occasions the light that kept us believing. A great player and a sound man!
