- This was Ashesi's campus in late 2001, with a few months to go before we would welcome our first students on March 4th 2002. After having failed to raise funds to build our permanent campus, we made the choice to start here rather than abandon the cause we had taken up.
- When I worked on dial-up technology at Microsoft, we could not have imagined that the internet would become what it is today; #web30 and the evolution of internet tech is a great testament to how much can be achieved through collaborative effort and knowledge sharing.
- Ghana’s democracy has had many milestones, but the establishment of our fourth republic and Rawlings’ role in it will be one of our history’s most important ones. He will be an unforgettable figure. My condolences to the entire Rawlings family on this loss.
- Higher Ed institutions in Africa continue to show, that with the right resources, we will have significant impact on the growth and wellbeing of the world. Students pledge to hold themselves to account; to not cheat or tolerate those who do. The Code encourages students to own their ethical posture, and to do the right thing even when no one is watching. #atAshesi
